Parking building Vestre Torg, Hamar municipality

Parking building with capacity for approx. 340 parking lots shall be established at the existing Vestre Torg in Hamar. The parking building will be confined by Høiensalsgate - Heidemannsgate - Torggata - Storhamargata. The parking building shall be constructed in 3 levels below ground with development of park grounds with playground for children at the surface.
Necessary sheet pile curtains in connection with the construction of the parking building shall be retained and work as internal walls for the finished project. This will require both material technical and exterior qualities.
The engineering, procurement and construction contract also includes development of Høiensalsgate between Torggata and Storhamargata, as well as repairs of surrounding pavements/streets affected by the construction of the parking building. The contract also includes construction of a driveway to the parking building from Høiensalsgate with internal driving platforms inside the parking building, partly situated below the roadway in Høiensalsgate.
Step free entrance shall be constructed from Torggata via a new pedestrian culvert situated directly west of the new Cultural centre. From the park grounds, an access to the Parking building via the staircase and lift building shall be constructed.
The existing infrastructure in the ground and surrounding Vestre Torg is relatively comprehensive. This infrastructure will to a various degree be affected by the construction of the new parking building. The tender documents contain information of this infrastructure and it is a condition that the property developer adapts the works to existing cable and pipe guideways.
Establishment of sheet pile curtains requires caution and accuracy in such a way that surrounding buildings are not inflicted damages.
