P-72602 Hold Baggage Screening
The basic delivery consists of the following equipment:
EU standard 3 EDS machines for standard luggage,
EU standard 3 EDS machines for large (OZ) luggage,
Duplicate / redundant image distribution server,
Operator workstations,
Bomb cart.
Installation, testing, startup and training.
The delivery of this contract shall achieve the X-ray-quality and safe handling of checked-in baggage as required by the ECAC and Civil Aviation Authority. Furthermore shall the system have sufficient capacity and reliability in operation.
"Norwegian Standard - NS3431" is selected as the contract terms, which gives the supplier responsibility for the design, engineering, etc. to achieve the functionality that is specified.
The award of the contract has a goal to be achieved for February / March 2014. Thereafter will a design and coordination period follow for four months along with the BHS supplier. The on-site assembly and installation will begin in the summer 2015.
The new HBS system shall be fully operational for the spring of 2017.
The contract will contain the following options:
Free-standing X-ray machine (medium size).
Bomb sniffer.
Service and maintenance agreement.
