The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) requests an automated, user-friendly system that directly detects and accurately quantifies a large number (> 150) of nucleic acids (mRNA and miRNA) in a single biological sample and provides a digital reading of the result. The system must be able to detect and quantify mRNA and miRNA in small amounts of the total RNA (~ 100ng) without amplification. The system must be able to measure the mRNA and miRNA directly from the cell and tissue analysis.
