Maintenance and support of tools for Service Management

Norsk Tipping AS

Norsk Tipping AS (NT) has a need for a new contract for maintenance and support for their tool for Service Management.
NT's tool for Service Management is currently implemented on a on-premise system with NT responsible for the operation of both the application and infrastructure (such as servers, database, monitoring and operative system).
All development, maintenance and 2/3 line support of the application is dealt with by an external supplier, and NT currently has a support/maintenance contract that also includes consultancy services for this field.
1.3 NT's existing system
— NT currently uses HP Service Manager (version 9.21, an upgrade to 9.31 has started) for CMDB, Request, Incident, Problem and Change.
— HP Connect-It (version 9.5) is used for integration with various external and internal data sources for updating Configuration Items in/out, as well as for the integration of internal and external system/suppliers for Incident case management.
— We are also implementing HP's Discovery system for infrastructure - uCMDB (version 10).
— We currently also use the following modules delivered by Symfoni Norge:
– Rubik ITSM Expanded Pack;
– Rubik Dynamic Gateway.
— The on-premise systems that run at NT are currently operated on the following infrastructures:
– IBM WebSphere Application Server 7;
– Oracle Database 11G;
– Windows server 2008.

Norsk Tipping AS' future needs:
— Support:
- NT has internal user support that sees to first line enquiries from users. We have a need for 2/3 line support from the service provider during working hours (8-16 weekdays).
- If all or parts of the system has problems, the service providermust be able to be contacted for assistance at any time during NT's opening hours (07-24 every day).
- NT has a need for assistance with acute needs with a requirement for the service provider to be at the customers within 4 hours.
— Maintenance:
- NT has a need for assistance with updating software versions and/or patches.
- NT has a need for assistance with adaptations of its tool for Service Management.
- NT has a need for consultancy connected to NT's tool for Service Management.
— Further developemnt/consultancy services:
- NT has a need for assistance with further development or adaptation of the system.
- NT would like consultancy services and proposals for an improved system and for new functionality based on knowledge of NT's business areas and the possibilities there are within HP's tool for Service Management.
