HFK is carrying out this contest in co-operation with municipalities in the county. For this contest HFK co-operates with Sunnhordland Interkommunale Innkjøpsforum (inter-municipal procurement co-operation), Samarbeidsrådet (co-operative committee)for Sunnhordaland, Hardanger innkjøpssamarbeid (procurement co-operation) and Voss Municipality.Sunnhordland Interkommunale Innkjøpsforum comprises all municipalities in Sunnhordland : Bømlo, Fitjar, Kvinnherad, Stord and Tysnes. Hardanger innkjøpssamarbeid comprises: Odda, Ullensvang, Ulvik, Eidfjord and Jondal municipalities. The municipalities are operating, among other things, nursery schools, primary and lower secondary schools and nursing homes. They are also responsible for operating sports halls where these exist. All HFK's units, including Skyss, Bybanen AS, Bybanen Drift, and all the co-operating municipalities' units, are free to join the agreement.
