Framework agreements for treatment places for proton treatment

The Directorate of Health has been giving the task of establishing a predictable offer for proton therapy for Norwegian patients that fulfil the indication for such treatment. Helse Sør-Øst RHF c/o Sykehusparttner is carrying out the procurement on behalf of the Directorate of Health. There currently is no treatment offer within proton therapy in Norway and there is therefore a need to enter into contracts with foreign centres/clinics that can offer this treatment to Norwegian patients. The provisional estimates indicate that the total amount can be 50-100 treatment places per annum.

This is a procurement that is being carried out in accordance with Part II in the Public Procurement Regulations and thus in accordance with the national rules in Norway. The procurement's nature (procurement of treatment places outside Norway) means that the competition ought to the announced in the EU and the EEA area. This is the background for why it is announced on TED. Attention is drawn to the fact that this is a procurement in One stage and that it is a negotiated procedure. There is thus no prequalification. The deadlines that are stated in this notice are the dates for the actual competition. The relevant competition documents are attached to this notice and all interested service providers are welcome to submit a tender by the deadline 13.5.2013. (NT Ref:292113).
