Framework agreements for the purchase of treatment places for proton therapy (renewed competition)

Helsedirektoratet has been asked to establish a predictive tender for proton therapy to Norwegian patients who fulfill indications for such treatment. Helse Sør-Øst RHF v/Sykehuspartner is conducting the procurement on behalf of Helsedirektoratet. There is no proton therapy treatment available in Norway, and it is on this basis that there is a need to enter into agreements with foreign centers/clinics that can offer this treatment to Norwegian patients. Preliminary estimates indicate that the total scope might be the purchase of 50-100 treatment places per year.

This is a procurement conducted under Part II of the Public Procurement Regulations, and thus according to the national rules in Norway. The nature of the procurement (purchase of treatment places outside Norway) suggests that competition should be announced in the EU and EEA. This is the reason why it is posted on TED. It should be noted that this is an acquisition in A SINGLE STEP, and that it is implemented as tender competition with negotiations. There will therefore be no no pre-qualification. The time limits specified in this notice detail dates related to the conduct of the competition.
