Framework agreements for inspection and maintenance of emergency lighting and guiding systems

Oslo municipality c/o Omsorgsbygg Oslo KF (OBY) invite companies to an open tender competition to meet OBY's need to establish parallel framework agreements for the inspection and service of the emergency lighting installations in the awarding authority's properties.
OBY is a municipal company owned by Oslo municipality that shall develop, construct, run and maintain buildings. Per 1.1.2013 there is a total building area of approx. 900 000m2 divided between 650 properties with approx. 1 200 buildings.
The buildings mainly consist of nursing homes, residential and rehabilitation centres, nurseries and children's parks, municipal owned institutions connected to drug and alcohol care, child protection and psychiatry, fire stations, arts buildings and office buildings. OBY's tenants are mainly town district administrations and municipal departments.
The contract is for the inspection and maintenance of emergency lighting and guiding systems in OBY's properties in the form of framework agreements. The framework agreements are primarily for the inspection and maintenance of equipment and systems, but they also include the inspection to check that the extent of individual installations are in accordance with the current regulations and guidelines.
