Framework agreement painting and coating works case no. 13/55

The framework agreement consists of work as described in NS 3420-T:2008, Part T: Painting and coating works:
TA Preparatory work,
TB Painting,
TE Papering,
TH Flooring,
TK Molded rubber,
TY Maintenance work,
This contract also covers:
— building cleaning, ref. section 5.5
— initial treatment of flooring
— disassembly/reassembly and smaller moving assignments in connection with the work mentioned above when it is not appropriate to use other agreements.
Special conditions
— Scaffolding work is done mainly by framework agreement supplier for construction. Where painting work is mainly involved, the supplier of Painting and coating works will be responsible for this service. This will be arranged by order.
— When engineering design is required we expect consultancy support from supplier
— Tiling work will mainly be executed by framework supplier for construction, but minor work can be carried out by supplier, when agreed.
— (Requirement 28) Award authority currently has properties where parts of the buildings are in protection class 1 (preservation) or protection class 2 (conservation). Property management plans for these areas on the properties are being compiled. If it turns out that the supplier does not have the right skills for the jobs to be performed within these areas, award authority may choose to outsource this to gain access to the necessary expertise for the services.
Documentation of such skills/expertise can be submitted with the tender, and is as follows:
a. Central/local approval for completion within trade area j) Work on conservation buildings in action class 1, 2 or 3, or documentation of equivalent competence,
b. An overview of the work carried out within trade area j).
Work on conservation buildings and associated reference(s) (award authority's name and phone no, information about the extent and value of the contract).
It is expected that the supplier has access scaffolding, lifts and other tools/equipment necessary for the performance of work in connection with this agreement.
It must be expected that the work will be carried out in, or in close proximity to, hospital buildings that are in use.
Work in connection with the construction of the new Østfold Hospital at Kalnes in Sarpsborg is not part of this agreement, but chosen supplier must be prepared to work on this building after transfer to Award authority which is currently planned for the end of 2015.
