The town council has decided to extend Sørbø school. The awarding authority thus intends to enter into a contract for the construction of a new school building for 392 pupiles (2 parallel classes) with a gross area of approx. 3500m2. The contract includes: Detailed engineering design services based on the sketch project, construction of the school building and the development of outside areas and the delivery and assembly of school and office furniture (option).
The project shall be carried out as a modified turnkey contract. The service provider shall carry out the assignment in accordance with the contract so that the complete new school building and outside area are completed by 1.10.2014. Wing B shall be completed by 1.8.2014, so that it can be taken into use at the start of the academic year mid August 2014. The project shall be designed in accordance with the low energy criteria.
