Evaluation of Arts Council Norway commitment to digital infrastructure of the museums

Norsk kulturråd

Since 2007 Arts Council Norway have established a collaboration with Norsk Folkemuseum and Lillehammer Museum and have been giving financial support to the development of digital infrastructure and digital services thru their firm KulturIT ANS. This has been Arts Council Norway main focus on the digital field for museums. From that initiative Arts Council Norway want to implement an evaluation with a special focus on Arts Council Norway contribution to the development of the digital infrastructure through KulturIT in the period 2007-2013.
The goal for the evaluation is to elevate Arts Council Norway understanding and knowledge of the development of digital infrastructure for the museum sector, planning further support in this field. The evaluation should also contribute knowledge to KulturIT and the museums own developmental work.
The evaluationraport is expected to be finished in the end of September.
