The contract is for editorial services for the magazine 'Nysgjerrigper'. Text production and journalist services are included in the contract, but the service provider of editorial services can use sub suppliers for this. The editor in charge for the magazine 'Nysgjerrigper' is the communication director in the Research Council of Norway. Other members in the editorial team are communication consultants in the Research Council of Norway. The service provider for editorial services will function as the editor for the magazine 'Nysgjerrigper' and will have the overall responsibility for the production of the magazine's eight editions: 3-2014 up to and including 2-2016. The contract partner shall also contribute in the process of further developing the magazine 'Nysgjerrigper' with a view to hitting the target group and fulfil the magazine's purpose and intentions.

The magazine 'Nysgjerrigper"' has a circulation of 85 000, with four editions per annum of 32 pages. The magazine presents research news in a way that makes the topic more accessible for the target group. In addition the magazine includes experiments, placards, competitions and brain teasers. The contract partner shall contribute ideas and concrete proposals for pictures and illustrations for each edition. The contract partner shall, as far as is possible, obtain pictures for free use (pictures from the Research Council of Norway's archive) or in accordance with good contracts with picture agencies. All pictures shall be ready for legitimate use in the pdf edition of the magazine, and as far as is possible, also for use on the website nysgjerrigper.no.See the tender documents for further information.

Credit rating, not older than one year, based on the last known accounting figures. The rating shall be carried out by a publicly certified credit rating institution. The Research Council of Norway can, in addition, obtain its own credit rating if appropriate.
