The contract consists of two sub-projects, sub-project 2 (DP2) Rosseland-Storenes and subproject 3 (DP3) Klepland-Tangvall.
With DP2 Rosseland-Storenes there shall be built 1950 meters of central barriers along the current E39(highway), which shall increase the traffic safety. In this context, the entire section of road shall be widened. Three road culverts shall in this context be extended, and one new road culvert shall be built new that shall provide enough free height in the underpass and thus better accessibility for county road 114.
All of the culverts shall be poured concrete. In addition, minor works on the local road network.
For the stretch of Klepland-Tangvall (DP3) there shall be built 1,900 meters of central barriers and overtaking lane in both directions, as well as a roundabout at Tangvall. In this context shall the entire stretch of road be widened. This involves the extension of four road culverts with poured concrete and the blasting of a rock interface along the E39 (highway). In addition, some work on the local road network.
For the DP2 project the work will take place between Ev039 HP03 and HP03 km 0200 km 02130.
For the DP3 project the work will take place between Ev039 HP03 and HP04 km 03580 km 00170.
The contract works includes excavation and filling works, blasting, rock support / hillside protection, construction / expansion of 8 units of poured concrete structures, construction of natural stone walls, the establishment of 1 roundabout including lead islands, the handling of stormwater, universal design of the 5 bus stops, asphalting, noise abatement, central barriers, guardrails, signs, road markings etc.
