The tender comprises procurement of two MaldiTOF mass spectrometres (MS) connected to a database system for analysis and identification of microorganisms, including bacteria and fungi, as a minimum. The equipment shall be used for both diagnostics and research.

— Framework agreement on equipment including consumables.
Award authority requests a six year agreement with the possibility of extension for a further 3 years.
