The contract includes engineering design, delivery, installation and commission of a complete sorting system for new Deichmanske main library. The contract also includes some attendance during the initiation period. All details shall be approved by the engineering design group prior to final production.
The system is expected to comprise the following main elements:
a) Conveyor belt - transport connection between all elements in the system,
b) Depositing units for the general public - 5 units,
c) Depositing units for employees - 7-8 units,
d) Lift - six levels,
e) Sorting fractions - 120-130 units,
f) Trolleys/boxes - two for each sorting fraction.
The new library building is expected to have 3 000 000 visitors and 2 000 000 lendings per annum.
It is estimated that number of concurrent visitors may amount to 1 500. At the time of opening, the total physical media collection will amount to approx. 500 000 units, including physical media types

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
(1) Company registration certificate;
(2) Declaration of the company's participation in a publicly verified apprentice scheme(s) relevant to the contract;
(3) Evidence of enrolment on the professional or trade register, as required by national law, in the country where the company is established;
(4) Value added tax certificate (National requirement);
(5) Company tax certificate (National requirement);
(6) Self-declaration in compliance with Appendix 2 (HSE) of the Norwegian procurement regulations (National requirement);
(7) Other documentation required (please state below).
The contractor shall have settled conditions in relation to payment of taxes and VAT.
The contractor shall comply with statutory Norwegian requirements in relation to health, safety and environment (HSE).
The contractor shall be a legally established company.

(1) The company's most recent annual report including new information of relevance to the company's accounting figures;
(2) Presentation of the company's annual accounts, or extracts thereof;
(3) Statement of the company's turnover, of relevance to this contract, for previous years;

The contractor shall have sufficient financial capacity to implement the assignment/comply with contractual obligations.

(1) A list of the principal deliveries effected, or main services provided, by the company, in the past 5 years, with the values, dates and recipients (for works contracts);
(2) A statement of the quality assurance/quality control system operated by the company;
(3) Other documentation required (please state below).

— The contractor shall be well experienced with and have competence in delivery of complete sorting systems, including engineering design, production, installation/assembly and follow up,
— The contractor shall have a good and efficient quality assurance system.
