The outdoor installations at the new hospital are divided into ten areas in the tender. The first five areas are connected to the entrance side of the building (south) with car parks and access. The next 2 are connected to the atriums and the roof garden inside the building and the last 3 are connected to the park area, '¡cultural landscape' (i.e. extensive grass area) and the woods in the site's peripheral areas.
The car park areas with approx. 1 250 parking places shall be established in the construction site's barracks area and the works consist of levelling, plumbing installations for dewatering, drawing pipes for outdoor electrical installations, asphalting, markings, kerbstones and green areas.
The access zone, 6 000 m2, from sykehusgata to the main entrance is to have concrete covers, areas with slate cover, wooden rails and some park equipment.
Bus stop with 6 parking places and area towards the main entrance with restricted access for vehicles.
Six atriums approx. 4 700 m2 in the buiding with a roof garden and a bordered garden room with a sealed fence. The atriums are to be constructed with concrete slabs/rubber cover and equipped with play and activity equipment.
The park area around the hospital and in the semi-atriums is approx. 12 000 m2 grass area.
A grass bank approx. 20 000 m2 and some simple gravel roads.
Planting approx. 500 trees, approx. 3 000 m2 bushes/flower areas and areas with bulbs.
