This acquisition shall provide assistance in sub-projects related to work package 1, salting and chemicals. Which includes both project management / reporting and fieldwork.
The purpose with the acquisition is to increase the applied knowledge about the basic mechanisms of the chemicals that are used with winter maintenance, but also to help increase the more applied knowledge. Including both methods used for salting, limitations of NaCl(sodium chloride) as a tool for winter operations and possible alternatives to NaCl.
