Avinor shall, as the builder, construct a new energy central at Kristiansun Airport, Kvernberget The construction site consists of rock, partly excavated and it has been prepared and blasted to approx. 1m. The planned building has a ground area of 553m2. The building has several main parts: Heat plant with heat pumps, the network company's transformer room, main distribution board, emergency power aggregate, regulator room and interface room for Tele/HK.
A pump house for the water and sewage installations will be integrated into the building.
The building shall mainly be constructed in concrete/elements.
In addition a basement level shall be constructed that serves as access to a culvert and technical pipelines. Water, heating and electricity to the new buildings at the airport shall go via the culvert that has already been constructed. The basement level has already been roughly excavated. The ground water level is just below the culvert pipelines and the bottom plate for the pump basin that is already in place.
The new building shall be constructed in accordance with the prepared detailed drawings with given plan solutions and specifications.
