The purpose of the procurement is to enter into a contract with a supplier/contractor to cover IVAR IKS' need for the collection of septic sludge in Rennesøy Municipality. Total number of septic tanks in Rennesøy is estimated at about 620. In addition there are 12 major municipal sludge interceptors. The first round of the collection starts this year and accounts for about half of the total amount. The sludge interceptors at Rennesøy were last emptied in 2011/2012. This means that sludge interceptors shall be emptied every year.
The collection from standard sludge interceptors shall take place from August to the end of November.
The municipal sludge interceptors shall be emptied all year around when ordered by IVAR IKS or the municipality.
A detailed emptying plan shall be prepared by the service provider/contractor every year, in accordance with conditions stipulated by the municipality.
Service provider shall transport the sludge from the treatment plants to the Central Purification Plant North Jæren (SNJ.) in Mekjarvik.
