Building materials, timber, tools, paint and coatings

The objective of the agreement is to ensure that the Award authority, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, achieves cost-effective and rational purchasing and use of construction materials, hand tools, paint and flooring.
The materials are divided into the following groups:
A) timber, construction materials, ladders, transport equipment;
B) handheld tools, measuring and labelling tools, power tools;
C) fasteners;
D) paints, adhesives and floor coverings.
The framework agreements apply to the products listed in the price schedule (multiple tabs) and Annex 5 requirement specification, and closely related products. In cases where doubt may arise concerning the interpretation of whether a product is "closely related" or not, it is the Award authority's contract manager who decides.
It is possible to submit tenders for one or more groups, or all groups combined.
Award are made by group.
One framework agreement will be awarded per group, a total of four framework agreements where the individual agreements will have exclusive rights within the assigned group.
The agreement is for two years but there is a unilateral option to extend for 1 + 1 year.
