Blood donor gifts for Sørlandet hospital

Sørlandet sykehus HF

Sørlandet hospital currently has blood banks located in Arendal, Flekkefjord, Kristiansand and a bleeding station in Mandal. Various gift articles are given at the blood banks to blood donors after each donation. The estimated consumption is approx. 600000 NOK and approx. 12000 gifts are given per annum. Variation is wanted in the product selection, as the same blood donor can give blood up to several times per annum. For collectable products it is important that the supplier/s can delivery the same products over a long period.
The awarding authority cannot guarantee equal division per product category (as it is the blood donor that chooses the gift), so the awarding authority does not have an obligation to buy.
