Bamble Municipality shall build a new water treatment plant at the municipality's main waterworks. The plant is situated at kilden (well) Flåtevann. The present publication covers competition for construction related contract. There has been prior information about the competition in the information notice published 29.11.2012.
The construction contract includes a new building with a base of 1000 m² 8-13 m in elevation including staff room of 280 m². The new building will be built with a steel frame and steel elements in walls and ceilings, and extensive concrete work. In addition, the old concrete waterworks building (3 floors of 180 m2) will be renovated, rebuilt and expanded, and a 30 m concrete culvert will be built between the old and new buildings.
The construction contract also includes ground works and external WS (water and sewage) system.
The building contractor will be coordinating sub-contractors on site.
