The Assignment/objective of the procurement:
Procurement of general insurance services which shall cover the Awarding Authority's activities:
Bybanen AS (the City Railroad Ltd), henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, is 100 % owned by the Hordaland County. The Awarding Authority administers the ownership and is responsible for administration, operation and maintenance of the Awarding Authority's infrastructure and railroad materials on behalf of the owner. The infrastructure and railroad material include the following:
- Railway/track between the centre of Bergen (Byparken) and Lagunen, including the workshop area.
- Stops and included installations/furnishing.
- Electricity supply (contact line and rectifier stations).
- Monitoring systems.
- Buildings around the operational area situated at Kronstad (operation hall, operation office, workshop hall).
- 17 trams; Variobahn.
- Maintenance railroad cars.
Infrastructure and railroad material may increase in volume in connection with opening of new construction stages.

(4) Self-declaration in compliance with Appendix 2 (HSE) of the Norwegian procurement regulations (National requirement)

Credit appraisal/rating not older than 6 months. The appraisal/rating shall be based on the most recent financial figures. The rating shall be conducted by a publicly authorised credit rating agency

A brief and principal description of the company, including:
- An overview of the company's history, organisation and ownership as well as a description of the existing activities.
- A description of the business idea and how the company is organised in relation to implementation of the assignment.
- An overview of the competence at the tenderer's disposal for this assignment as well as statement verifying that the customer service representatives are in command of Norwegian.
An overview of the principal, relevant assignments for the previous five (5) years. The tenderer shall describe minimum two (2) previously executed works/projects, including values, dates of implementation, contact information, verified certificates or descriptions from recipients. The tenderer shall fill in the annex referred to as “Firmaopplysning” (“Company information”). See annexes B and C referred to as “Attest” (“Attestation”). References are contacted upon requirements.
