Assignment / Deliveries:
Agder Energi Nett AS, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, shall conduct an acquisition of AMS system, which shall consist of the following main areas:
— The delivery of AMS electricity meters during the project period (approximately 200,000 units) and for the subsequent operation period.
— The delivery of the infrastructure and equipment for the substations during the project period (approximately 8,000 units) and for the subsequent operation period.
— The delivery of a comprehensive solution for front-end (central system), including communication, integration towards the adjacent systems, as well as commissioning.
— Logistics, work orders and monitoring system for the project rollout.
— Responsible for progress, coordination and the system during the entire project rollout period.
— Responsible for the operation of the AMS solution until it fulfills the regulations and the Agder Energi Nett AS requirements.
— Option for the purchase of logistics, work orders and a monitoring system
Measurement data management system and other adjacent systems not mention above are not part of this acquisition.

Agder Energi Nett (AEN) as the area concessionaire for Agder has an obligation to implement Advanced Metering Systems (AMS) in accordance with the regulations "FOR 1999-03-11 nr 301: Regulations for metering, settlement and concerted practices for energy sales and invoicing of network services". Deadline for the installation of AMS is 1.1.2019. The industry has previous estimated the total cost for Norwegians electricity network companies to be approximately be 5 000 000 000 NOK. New estimates suggest that the costs will be much higher, up to the area of 10 000 000 000 NOK in total for Norway. (This figure includes the electricity network companies internal costs). The estimated value for this acquisition is estimated to be about half of the estimates for AEN, and will be in the area of 175-350 000 000 NOK. The quantity for the total scope includes partial deliveries and all options. The values given below includes total scope throughout the entire contract period.
