The framework agreement shall be entered into by the Finnmark county authority on behalf of the county authorities 8 upper secondary schools. In total the 8 schools have close to 2800 students and about 500 employees. The schools are spread throughout the entire county (see appendix B – operation overview). The framework agreement is for the purchase of teaching aids, including textbooks and books for higher education and upper secondary schools, educational books, teacher guides, subject pamphlets, answer books, digital learning resources (ie additional resource that are included in the books for example websites and CD Rom included with the educational books), audiobooks that are associated with textbooks, student books, workbooks, activity books, the original copies, booklets on specialized topics and cd / dvd in accordance book group 1, 2 and 8 of the book agreement.
Supplementing purchasing will be kept out the agreement in case the selected supplier cannot deliver the identical books to existing books. The same applies to other textbooks for special education programs that the supplier cannot supply and urgent orders that cannot be delivered within the set deadline referred to in appendix A requirement specifications section 6.2.
The Awarding Authority is open for separate bids for the following regions:
— Øst-Finnmark;
— Vest-Finnmark.
In total the competition includes 2 sub-segments, where each of the sub-segments may end up as independent framework agreements. Potentially therefore the Awarding Authority enter into an agreement with two different suppliers, that which will have responsibility for its respective region. Each sub-segment is evaluated independently. See appendix C for the county division.
The purchase of books for the school libraries is not comprised of the purchase obligation.
