4/2013: Purchase of tools and mechanical equipment

VAV, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, has the need for the following:
hand tools, power tools, battery operated tools, welding equipment, cutting tools for concrete, wood and metals, hydraulics, drill - and threading tools, fastner, machine parts like self-aligning bearings, seals, V-belts, drive belts, cutting and grinding equipment, consumables, welding materials like covered electrodes, flux cored wire, welding consumables, parts for welding machines, welding masks, breathing equipment for welding masks, lifting and safety equipment. In addition, there is a need for the purchase of consumables such as bolts, washers, screws and nuts.
The Awarding Authority has a need for various types of tools and mechanical equipment. The list above should not be considered complete.
In addition, there may be some orders of "obtaining products", i.e. products that are ordered for special needs, but within the relevant product areas. In such cases, the supplier must be able to obtain the requested items. The Awarding Authority requests percent mark-up on the price for these type of products.
The Awarding Authority is concerned to use modern tools and mechanical equipment. The Awarding Authority expects that the supplier shall advise and assist the buyer to choose the correct efficient and cost-saving solutions.
The Awarding Authority will enter into contracts with a supplier that has branches / stores / warehouses in the Oslo area.
