38/2013: Purchase of fittings for the department's new vans

The Water and Sewage departent shall purchase fittings for the department's new vans with carrying capacity of about 1000 kg and vans with carrying capacity exceeding 3,500 kg.
Vans with about 1000 kg payload are to be used by the department's plumbers, electricians, mechanics, roadside maintenance teams, sound detectors and source tracers. Vans with carrying capacity over 3500 kg shall be used by plumbers. The vehicles must be fitted out to suit the vehicle's purpose and also to suit each user group.
In addition, all new cars shall be fitted with warning lights. The safety of our employees requires the installation of warning lights, since most of the tasks will be performed in congested areas.
The delivery of fittings, and installation of warning lights will be carried out after the vans have been delivered, in the period from late 2013 to late 2015.
