The Nordland County Authority hereby invites to an open tender competition for framework agreements for machinery and hand tools. The agreement applies for Nordland County Authority's agencies/institutions as well as municipalities and other institutions that are associated with the County Authority's purchasing scheme. The County Authority in this competition is divided into nine purchasing regions, that include: Lofoten, Vesterålen excluding Andøy, Andøy, Salten, Rana, Vefsn and Ytre-Helgeland excluding Brønnøysund, and Brønnøysund.
The agreements shall apply for the period between 1.1.2014 to 31.12.2015, with an option to extend for a further two years by one year at a time.
In cases where purchases are defined as separate projects are the agencies / institutions free to go through other suppliers.
It is possible to submit tenders for the entire county, or parts of the county. The individual purchasing region is defined as lots in the request.
There shall be entered into an agreement with one supplier for each purchasing region.
It shall be noted that the value of the agreement is estimated on the basis of approximate spending figures. The spending figures are not binding for future call-offs under the framework agreement.
It shall be noted that it shall not be accepted subject to that one supplier is to supply all of the regions, if this entails that local bidders which in isolation have better bids shall not be accepted. Any such reservations will be considered to be significant and could result in dismissal in accordance with procurement regulations, § 20-13.
