2-BYM-2013 Operation/maintenance of roads/ town spaces in the central area in the period 2013 – 2018

The contract is for the operation and maintenance of roads and town spaces in the above mentioned districts in Oslo municipality. The tender documents, annex 1 "Description of services included in the contract" gives an account of what the contract involves, the contract's geographical area and special conditions that must be taken into consideraton. The following services are included in the contract:
- Winter operations,
- Spring cleaning,
- Emptying drains,
- Asphalt repairs,
- Operations patrol,
- Mechanical cleaning,
- Maintaining green areas,
- Bus stop operation,
- Stand-by vehicle and stand-by contract,
- Various daywork.
The contract is decribed in relative detail with deadlines for which each element shall be completed. The service provider will however be able to find his own methods to fulfil the contract in the most efficient way without this affecting the quality.
Equivalent work can also, through this awarding authority, include areas connected to other departments and companies in Oslo, current possible orderers are the Port of Oslo and the Sanitation Department.
The contract is for the operation and maintenance of roads and town spaces on the municipal road network in the following districts, Centre, Gamle Oslo, Grünerløkka, Sagene, St. Hanshaugen and Frogner.
