1 instrument for automated immune histochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridisation (ISH)

The University Hospital of North Norway (UNN), Clinical Pathology, would like tenders for a freestanding instrument for automated set up of immune histochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridisation (ISH). The instrument will mainly be used for research projects for different professions/research groups at UNN and the University of Tromsø (UiT).
The instrument shall also be used for automated preparation of Fluorescense IN Situ Hybridisation (FISH) preparations for supplementary molecular diagnostics.
It is important that the instrument is properly adapated to flexible use, where protocols can be adapated to antitmatter, probes and detection systems from different suppliers. A considerable part of the instrument's use will be in situ hybridisation of microRNA in formal infixated, parafin cast tissue samples. Great emphasis will therefore be put on documentation that shows that the system is suitable for this.
All additional equipment that is necessary so that the instrument can function as intended shall be described and included in the tender.
As in situ hybridisation of RNA will be a central use for the instrument and these protocols presume that RNase free solutions are used, the tender shall also include a water treatment plant for preparing RNase free water in sufficient amounts.
The water treatment plant shall be connected to the water supply to the MH building, UiT.
The tender shall include a PC, printer and other necessary IT equipment/software.
The instrument shall be CE-certified.
