Forsvarets logistikkorganisasjon (FLO)

The armed forces shall procure workwear In concrete this will consist of the need for two types of work/rescue wear; Boat anti-exposure suits and firefighter suits. The term "Nordkappdrakt" (North Cape suit) is also used as a joint term.
The current supplier is VIKING Life-saving Equipment AS. The armed forces has cooperated with VIKING for several years in order to improve the current suits. The armed forces has through the contract with VIKING owner rights in the specifications and has the right to use the specifications for a new competition. The specifications that will be attached to the later tender documents that will be sent out to prequalified companies are therefore neutral specifications without referral to brands.

The framework agreement will last for 3 years. Then the armed forces will have an option for a further 1+1+1 year, i.e. the framework agreement can last for a maximum of 6 years.
