Giske kommune

The existing Valderhaug and Skjong primary schools shall be merged. Giske municipality, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, shall therefore construct a new primary school located at Valderøya. The school shall be a 1-7 grade school designed for 70 students per grade - total of 490 pupils. The school is designed so that it can be expanded to future capacity of 600 pupils.
The Awarding Authority invites to a tender competition for construction of the building which shall be executed as a general contract for construction works with coordinated technical contracts. The main contractor shall as a minimum have coordination responsibility for technical disciplines - transfer of contracts will be considered.
The gross area of the building is 8 967 m2. The works are expected to be initiated 10.12.2012. The school shall be in use within autumn 2014. The contracts are divided as follows:
E20 General contract for construction works.
E31 Pipe engineering works.
E36 Air treatment including automatic controls.
E40 Electro engineering works.
E62 Lift.
All contractors wishing to participate in the tender contest must download the tender documents by open the attachement to the tender notice in doffin.no.

Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:

The tenderer shall substantiate that he had positive equity at the turn of years 2011-2012. By presenting statements, the tenderer shall substantiate that the required described guarantees can be furnished.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
(1) Manpower proposed for this contract (organisation chart) with names and CV's of the key personnel who will be responsible for its execution (for service and works contracts)
(2) A list of the principal deliveries effected, or main services provided, by the company, in the past five years, with the values, dates and recipients (for works contracts)
(3) Other documentation required (please state below)
The tenderer will be assessed based on the presented organization chart proposed for this assignment. The tenderer must offer an organisation with competence to execute a project of this extent and complexity. An organisation chart and CVs for the key personnel shall be presented.

The tenderer must substantiate that he has sufficient capacity to execute the project within the given deadlines. A manpower plan for the project shall be presented. The tenderer shall substantiate that equivalent large and complex building projects have been executed during the previous 5 years.

Kontraktutførelse
Innskudd og garantier som kreves:
The tenderer shall furnish necessary insurances and guarantees in accordance with NS (Norwegian Standard) 8406. When submitting the tender, the tenderer shall substantiate that such insurances and guarantees are achievable.
Andre særlige vilkår:
The project is subject to the municipal council’s final approval. If the received tenders exceed the acceptable financial limits, the Awarding Authority reserves the right to cancel the tender competition without any liability to pay compensation for costs made by the tenderers. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to cancel the entire competition or parts of it, or reject all tenders if justifiable basis is present. Missing approval or insufficient financial allocations are justifiable basis for cancellation.
