Fredrikstad Municipality issues an invitation to a competition for construction and delivery of a new passenger ferry for 50 people. The ferry will be used for passenger transport over the River Glomma between eastern and western districts of Fredrikstad Municipality. Fredrikstad Municipality wishes that the new ferry shall be as similar as possible to the existing ferry.
The ferry shall be certified by the Norwegian Maritime Directorate for passenger transport in speed area 1 - speed within fully enclosed waters, Regulation No. 3793 of 4.11.1981.
