The objective of the tender competition is to ensure the Norwegian Opera and Ballet, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, an efficient and reliable ticketing system which meets the Awarding Authority’s internal and external requirements in relation to ticket sales.
An efficient sale system is very important for the Awarding Authority to be able to reach the future goals. The sale system is often the initial contact the customer has with the Awarding Authority and is therefore a very important part of the customer’s total impression.
The Awarding Authority’s paramount objective in relation to ticketing system is to achieve more numerous and even more satisfied customers and increased accessibility. It is therefore very important that the ticket sale system is efficient and that all tickets are available in all channels including: box-office windows, telephones, Internet, mobile phones, ticket machines, cooperation with external participants and sponsor sales.
It is a goal that 80 % of the ticket sale shall be through digital channels within 2014. With an increasing development in sale through digital channels it is very important that the system suppliers are future oriented and in constant development in accordance with technological new development in the business.
The ticketing system shall contribute to an efficient sale process and substantiate and support important internal processes. With integration and reporting options, shall the system contribute to increase the control and simplify the work processes related to ticket sale.
