A contract will be signed for the procurement of hardware for 6 years from when the contract is signed with options for up to 4 years. The contract value for the entire procurement is estimated to be 10 000 000 NOK excluding VAT over a ten year period. 4 000 000 NOK excluding VAT is budgeted this year for the procurement of new hardware for SAN. The supplier will be obligated to carry out the work included in the contract.

Vilkår for deltakelse
Egnethet til å utøve yrkesvirksomheten:
(1) Company registration certificate.
(2) Value added tax certificate (National requirement).
(3) Company tax certificate (National requirement).
(4) Self-declaration in compliance with Appendix 2 (HSE) of the Norwegian procurement regulations (National requirement).
Økonomisk og finansiell stilling:
Tenderers shall have good solidity. The solidity will be seen in relation to the assignment's risk. This shall be documented by the supplier's annual accounts for the last two accounting years. The annual accounts shall include the auditor's report.
The awarding authority reserves the right to obtain a credit rating of tenderers if it is deemed to be appropriate.
Teknisk og faglig kapasitet:
Tenderers must document good quality assurance routines.
The Patent Office needs to have a supplier that handles any deviations and complaints in a good way and learns from their mistakes. The Patent Office also needs a supplier that works systematically and is conscious of quality assurance. The quality assurance routines shall at a minimum be documented through handbooks, manuals, routines or other items that describe how deviations are followed up, complaints are dealt with and general follow up of quality.

The Patent Office would like to sign a contract with an experience supplier in the market with a lot of competence within the field. The supplier ought to have a formal cooperation with the manufacturer of the offered equipment. If there are certification schemes, the tenderer ought to be the certified partner.

Competence in the products must be seen in connection with what they shall be used for.
The supplier must describe his competence. We ask suppliers to enclose a list with an overview of all assignments that the supplier has carried out of an equivalent type, i.e. office companies of approx. the same size or greater. The list shall include references with the name of a contact person, telephone number and e-mail addresss. The Patent Office reserves the right to contact the contact person and obtain references without informing the applicant. We also ask that applicants enclose any relevant written references.
