Speed enforcement, equipment for measuring average speed, with and without video

The aim of this procurement is to enter into an agreement for supply of Speed enforcement, equipment for measuring average speed, with and without video, that will be assembled afterwards in police vehicals by a supsupplier. The instruments will be used to provide evidence that a driver of a vehicle has kept a certain average speed. The equipment will be used under Norwegian terrain, road, weather and road conditions with their changing temperatures and climate. The equipment must withstand all surroundings as it will be used under in the police operation in Norway, and also withstand the impact one would expect in these situations. Further, the equipment must withstand high and low frequency of use over time. Equipment must be adaptable to motor vehicles with both 1, 2 and 4 wheel drive.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
1. Option to extend.
Award authority has an option to extend the agreement, under the same conditions, for 1+1 year for a total possible contract period of 4 years.
2. Option for speed enforcement, equipment for measuring average speed, with video MC (required option).
Award authority must be able to call-off the speed enforcement, equipment for measuring average speed, with video MC. It is required that the provider also tender for the option, without this being binding upon award authority.
3. Option for speed enforcement, equipment for measuring average speed, portable (non-exclusive option).
Award authority wants to be able to call-off speed enforcement, equipment for measuring average speed, portable on the agreement. This feature is optional for both parties.
