The Sanitation department, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, requests tenders for preliminary sorting of household waste. The service include reception and treatment of preliminary household waste from the recycling station at Heggstadmoen in Trondheim.

Preliminary sorted household waste shall be collected at Hegstadmoen recycling station and comprises typically of household’s waste in connection with clearing of attics and basements and may contain i.a. mattresses, textiles, pottery and old sports equipment. The waste shall not contain food waste.— Quantities of preliminary sorted household waste: approx. 1 700 tonnes/annum,— Deliveries (loads per annum): approx. 65 deliveries per annum,— Disposal degree (2010): 28 %.This will to some degree be dependent on the quantities of preliminary sorted, incombustible household waste. During spring and summer months the quantity often increases compared with the winter months. The quantity of final sorted fractions to be delivered to finishing treatment, either as material recycling, energy recovery or disposal, shall be subject to monthly registration and reporting routine to the Awarding Authority.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:
The Awarding Authority has unilateral option to prolong the agreement with 2x1 years. If the agreement is not concluded, the option will be valid 1 year at a time. The Awarding Authority has 6 months deadline to terminate the contract.
