Project E16 - Renovation of Nes tunnel - Electronic work

Nes tunnel on the E16 in Hole municipality shall be renovated and upgraded to the current standard. This contract is for electrotechnical work that shall be carried out in this connection. The tunnel is 1276 metres, cross section T9 and was constructed in 1988. The tunnel was previously cleared of all fittings down to the existing road surface. Water and frost protection arch, technical building and all electro equipment and cables have been removed. A 22 kV high voltage cable goes through and supplies both the tunnel and the Sollihøgda area. The high voltage cable is in operation. It has, in connection with rock and construction work, been temporarily laid in cable guideways along the western wall - but shall be moved back to the cable guideway along the eastern wall from where the transformer installations in the technical building shall also be supplied.
The tunnel shall be upgraded to the current standard for two lane traffic, but it shall be prepared for the future as a south bound lane in a four lane road. The tunnel is to be renovated with walls of prefabricated, insulated concrete elements and a roof of PE-foam fire protection with net reinforced shotcrete. There are 2 technical buildings in the tunnel. These are also prepared to house future installations for a tunnel no. 2.
