Project 12156 Sami Sixth Form College (VGS) in Kautokeino H001 - Engineering design

Statsbygg has been commissioned by the Education Ministry for the planning of new buildings and / or reconstruction of Sami VGS (Sixth Form College), hereafter Sami VGS Kautokeino.
The school in Kautokeino is in a poor condition. The current buildings were developed in several stages: 1957, 1982 and 1996, and do not meet today’s requirements, is highly fragmented, has unnecessary large corridors and poor logistics. The school as it stands today is inappropriate both on the basis of the universal design and as a school. The school has not been deemed preservation worthy by the Land Conservation Plan Project, so demolition will only have to be reported to the municipality.
The public Sami VGS Kautokino offers general academic subjects. In addition to the subjects available in the above course students can also study the following special subjects; Duodji (Sami handicrafts), reindeer husbandry, building/construction, technical/ industrial manufacturing and food processing. It is very important that the teaching of current subjects shall be maintained throughout the construction period, with the possible exception of, for example, one or more special subjects. The assignment is intended to ensure the recruitment of new students, and helping to ensure that the school is friendly and welcoming to visitors and guests.
The project has completed the programme phase and agreed on the space/room programme and construction programme which will form the base for further work. The project covers, based on the attached building programme, an area of 6910 gross meters, and an outdoor area of 4405 square meters.

4. Information must be submitted for the reference project's and suppler's role in the various executed project phases as well as the PGK function (contract value)and coming phases. Reference projects for the various trades must be submitted, including the PGK function
