The programme and the contract will run for four years starting autumn 2012. The final contract year is 2015. The annual limit is approx. 2 000 000 NOK in total for all the contracts. This is subject to the Norwegian parliament’s grants for continuation beyond 2012. Lot 2 Compare available and relevant knowledge on topics shall be implemented autumn 2012, but is announced as an option. The final decision on whether the option is taken up will be made when the contract is signed. See annexes 1 and 3 for further details and for the time period of the lots.

This assignment is connected to the programme "Together for a better municipality" which is a framework programme for local development projects. KRD has the operative responsibility for the programme and the secretariat. The main organisations contribute with resource persons in order to profile and market the programme, as well as assist with professional knowledge. KS is responsible for gathering and implementing a network with the municipalities that are included in the programme. All the parties will meet in the administrative work group (administrative) and the programme council (political).
