The South-Eastern Regional Health Authority RHF constructs a new hospital at Kalnes in Sarpsborg municipality, Østfold County. The new hospital shall be completed in 2015. A gradual start of ordinary operations is planned from May 2015 and the hospital shall be in full ordinary operation in 2016.
The Hospital Pharmacies Health, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority, has areas at Kalnes at disposal where production, internal distribution and sale of medicinal products shall be carried out. In connection with this, the Awarding Authority plans to procure a storage and stock-picking robot which shall be located in the basement. The robot shall receive, store and deliver products in the basement for internal deliveries, supply products to the sale to the general public located in the ground floor.
The Awarding Authority also plans to procure a robot which shall be located at the Hospital Pharmacy Oslo. This is a part of the centralization of the storage function for 4 merged hospital pharmacies in Oslo. The procurement is dependent on reconstruction of the existing buildings. The robot delivered to Oslo is an option in this contract.
The objective of the procurement of storage and stock picking robot is to optimize the operating efficiency by i.a.:
— Quality assurance of stock holding and delivery.
— Efficient, reliable and rapid management of incoming and outgoing products from the Awarding Authority.
— Reduction of product management costs and improved use of professional resources.
— Improved workflow.
— Improved financial control.
The Awarding Authority invites to an open tender contest regarding procurement of storage and stock picking robot to the new hospital located at Kalnes, Sarpsborg. Option for procurement of one additional robot to Oslo.
