Procurement - calcium chloride in bulk and sacks/large sacks for use at roads, 2012

The Procurement Cooperation in Sunnmøre shall enter into a framework agreement involving procurement of calcium chloride for use on roads, sodium chloride (NaC1) in bulk and sacks/large sacks, in accordance with specifications given in Section 2 - Requirement specifications. The objective of the procurement is to enter into a framework agreement with one supplier who can cover the participating municipalities’ consecutive requirements for such products.
The Awarding Authority will primarily require these products during winter season (normally from October to April), as the products are mainly used in connection with winter maintenance of municipal roads.
Option: It is required that the tenderer can offer customer purchase of MB-Combo, magnesium chloride (NgC126H2O). The option is described in Section 2 - Requirement specifications.

Tax certificate: The tenderer shall have settled conditions in relation to payment of taxes and VAT, in accordance with the legal provisions.

HSE self-declaration:
The tenderer shall warranty that the company works systematically with compliance of the requirements given in the Health, Safety and Environment legislation and that the internal control regulations are fulfilled. The tenderer shall confirm that the business is legally organised in relation to current tax and work environment regulations regarding the employees’ professional and social rights. The tenderer shall allow the Awarding Authority to undergo and verify the company’s system for safeguarding Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).

Documentation requirement: Dated HSE self-declaration, signed by the general manager and representative from the employees. The document shall be in accordance with Annex 2 in the Public Procurement Regulations.
Company Registration Certificate:
Requirement: the tenderer shall be a legally established business.

Environment:
The environmental measures may e.g. be substantiated by verifying that the company has implemented a third-party certified system for environmental management in accordance with the criteria given in the Environmental Lighthouse system, ISO 14001 or equivalent. If the company is verified in accordance with these systems, certificates are to be attached. If other environmental control systems/other environmental measures are in force, alternative documentation must be attached.
