Prep. of environmental quality standards/revision of risk guidelines for contaminated sediments

The assignment comprises two sub-projects:
1. Developing environmental quality standards for EU priority substances, as well as a number of other substances, see table 1.1 and table 1.2 in Attachment B - scope of work;
2. Revise Klif’s risk guidelines for contaminated sediments.
The purpose of sub-project 1 is to develop environmental quality standards for the relevant matrix for several of the substances listed in Annex I of Directive 2008/105/EC, as well as a number of other relevant pollutants.
The purpose of the sub-project 2 is to revise Klif’s guidelines for risk assessment of contaminated sediment with respect to the new environmental quality standards which shall be determined in sub-project 1.

Beskrivelse av opsjoner:

Option 1.

If supplier cannot include all the compounds in table 1.2, supplier shall take off the compounds from the bottom of the table. The option shall include preparation of environmental quality standards for these compounds. Supplier shall, in Attachment C, illustrate the cost of implementing Option 1.

Option 2.

The option involves the preparation of a 5-part classification system for all compounds as described in Section 1.1 Project 1 - Preparation of environmental quality standards, point 3, if this cannot be included in the contract price. Supplier shall, in Attachment C illustrate the cost of implementing Option 2.
