Contract 72523 escalators and moving walkways includes delivery and installation of escalators and moving walkways for the development project T2 at Oslo Airport Gardermoen.
New systems shall be delivered to the following areas:
— The central building west (SBV) - new building,
— Pir North (PN) - new building,
— The central building east - existing building,
— Escalators: 21 units,
— Moving walkways: 2 units,
— The contract includes complete deliveries, including detailed engineering designed executed on the basis given in the existing tender documents. The detailed engineering design shall be executed in cooperation with the awarding authority and its consultants.
The contract includes delivery of escalators and moving walkways.
Some of the works shall be carried out on the airport’s “red zone” which will make special requirements in relation to safety measures and management.
Options:
— Escalators: 3 units,
— Moving walkways: 4 units,
— Disassembly/ collection of the existing escalator,
— Data based control and monitoring system,
— Energy optimization system.
The contract may be subject to variation in quantities, new optional items may also be introduced.
Time schedule:
The following preliminary progress schedule for the project has been made:
— Installation, start of works February 2014,
— Completion 2016.
