P-72273 Bus lounge Schengen A35, 37

Work scope:
P72273 is the construction contracts in relation to reconstruction of the existing Bus Lounge Schengen A35.37. The objective of the reconstruction is to increase the capacity with one additional exit for buses, which will increase the bus exits with 5.
The following contracts will be included in the reconstruction:
— Bus lounge Schengen,
— Electro, ICT, Pipes, Ventilation, Water and Sewage, Lifts,
— P72273 includes the following:
— Establishment of a new floor (level F) shall be constructed as an integrated part of the existing roof areas,
— Addition expected to be carried out as load bearing system made of steel structures (Colums+beams) and light-weight roof elements,
— Columns shall be established as a continuance of the existing columns, bracing of additions intended to be safeguarded with stiffening crosses in facades,
— Re-tightening of existing opening from level F to level D,
— Establishment of stairs and platform lifts in order to adjust the difference of height to a new level F,
— Establishment of toilets and technical rooms shall be established in new level F,
— Lift shafts shall be established in level F to the bus disposition levels,
— Auxiliary works for technical contracts,
— Doors/fittings,
— Fire proofing,
— Outer walls (glass facades and sealed fields),
— Inner walls, establishment of temporary and permanent walls,
— Internal metal and glass facades,
— Painting, flooring and repairs of existing coatings,
— Measures which shall ensure measures in relation to passenger traffic, arriving passengers and users (some of the works must be expected to be executed during night-time),
— Parallel activities and coordination against other contracts related to the construction site and other interface clarification towards other suppliers/contractors as well as project teams engaged by the Awarding Authority, must be expected,
— The works shall be carried out in the “red zone” within the CSRA border (security controlled side).Special requirements are therefore required in relation to security clearance and measures,
— The works related to expansion of Bus Lounge Schengen shall be executed close to aprons and other operating acitivities in the airport. The works shall be executed in accordance with the prevailing procedures for these types of works and some works must due to security measures, be expected to be carried out during nighttimes,
— The contractor will get access to joint residence workmen’s huts for the T2 projects which will be entered into as a separate contract,
— The contract includes the following main scopes:
— Establishment of glass walls: approx, 400 m2,
— Establishment of sealed walls: approx. 130 m2,
— Load bearing systems of steel: approx. 1 500 kg,
— Joint synergetic covers: approx. 24 m2,
— Light-weight roof elements: approx. 400 m2,
— Concrete foundations: approx. 7 m3,
— Counters in relation to departures: approx. 5 units.
Construction schedule:
Preliminary progress schedule is established for the contract:
¿ Contracting: 15.6.2011.
¿ Deadline for receipt of IG application: 3.8.2012.
¿ Initiation of works: 3.9.2012.
¿ Completion, including technical contracts: 2.4.2011.
