MA2420/11E. Framework agreements for the purchase of vehicles to co-purchasing agencies - SBU

Statlig bilutvalg (SBU) is a joint venture between different public agencies/authorities. The co-operation is related to the purchase of vehicles for each agency. The administration of SBU rotates between the agencies/authorities, during the new contract period SBU will be administered by NRK.
Though this publication SBU wishes to receive tenders for the purchase of vehicles.
The object of these framework agreements is to facilitate conditions for co-purchasing agencies to be able to meet their needs for vehicles without having to publish procurements and enter into agreements on their own behalf, and thereby achieve the best possible terms.
Cars and car ownership is environmentally harmful activity. As part of SBU's efforts to reduce its environmental impact, the environmental profile of its manufacturers and supplies will be emphasized.
SBU currently has framework agreements for vehicle purchases that are valid from 1.7.2008 to 30.6.2012. The new framework agreements shall include deliveries to cover the need for 2 years, with effect from 1.7.2012 through 30.6.2014. On behalf of SBU, NRK has the right to exercise the option to extend the agreement by up to 1 + 1 year. If SBU wishes to use the right to exercise the option, this must be notified to suppliers in writing at least 3 months before the expiry of the current contract period. The agreements cannot remain valid beyond 30.6.2016.
