The objective of the contract is purchase of laundry services and hiring textiles, as follows:
— Washing and hiring flat textiles for nursing and caring institutions,
— Washing and hiring work clothes for employees; nursing personnel and cleaning personnel at nursing and caring institutions,
— Washing of private clothes for residents in institutions as well as some living at home,
— Washing and hiring work clothes for employees in the home nursing care (option),
— Washing of work clothes for employees in the engineering section and other sectors, if any,
— Any other requirements occurring during the contract period (option).

Institution textiles includes all textiles for beds and nursing patients, including duvet covers, sheets, draw sheets, stretch sheets, pillow cases, large and small terrycloth towels, night jackets, nursing coats, lifting sheets and possibly other special textiles.

Antall eller omfang: At present, the requirement for laundry services is approx. 92 tonnes of textiles, compare chapter 4.3.5 from Gipø (nursing home), Bjønnesåsen (nursing home) and Østegaard (rehabilitation department) with a total of 164 beds. From 2015, the extent of the laundry is expected to increase to approx. 100 tonnes with planned increased beds (182) in a new health care facility/nursing home. The procurement includes washing and hiring textiles.

The nursing personnel work 3 shifts per 24 hours which amount to a requirement of pprox. 125 sets of work clothes per 24 hours.The Home nursing care:1 set of work clothes includes: Coat/smock and trouser. The existing requirement amounts to approx. 250 sets of work clothes per week.
Institution:

The Home nursing care:

Work clothes for employees in outdoor operations engineering sector, the property management and other activities when relevant.
Antall eller omfang: Currently, the work clothes include: Trousers, shorts, jackets (winter/summer), coveralls (overalls), rainwear: jackets and trouser, cotton pullovers and t-shirts.At present there are 20 employees in the engineering sector and the property management which use work clothes and change work clothes in accordance with requirement; approx 10 kg dry clothes per week.This agreement area includes washing (not hiring).
Currently, the work clothes include: Trousers, shorts, jackets (winter/summer), coveralls (overalls), rainwear: jackets and trouser, cotton pullovers and t-shirts.
At present there are 20 employees in the engineering sector and the property management which use work clothes and change work clothes in accordance with requirement; approx 10 kg dry clothes per week.
