The turnkey contract comprises PA-/voice alarm system, mainly for the Central Building West (52,000 m2), North Pier (64,000 m2) and integration with existing systems. This agreement may also be used in other areas that are reconstructed. The system shall cover areas both inside and outside of the airport.
The turnkey contract comprises all necessary engineering design, including system design. The turnkey contract shall also provide the basis for award authority's consultancy Team T, so that they can produce work drawings.
The following main elements will be included in the enterprise, in accordance with the requirement specification:
— central units, amplifier equipment, speakers, voice storage units (for pre-recorded messages),
— microphones / stations, including calibration / sensor microphones,
— induction loops for streets, waiting areas and information desks,
— design and preparation of basis for the production of work drawings,
— installation and wiring of main equipment in rack (rack is included in another contract),
— installation of induction loops,
— configuration, commissioning and testing,
— coordination of the interface with fire alarm system + more,
— installation of induction loops,
— configuration, commissioning and testing,
— co-ordination of the interface with fire alarm system + more.
Award authority sets the following main functional requirements for the new system, and interface with existing systems:
— the new PA system, including interfaces, shall meet the public requirements for voice alarm systems, including NS-EN54,
— audio sources in both the new and the existing system shall be transmitted freely to defined recipient zones or groups of recipient zones across partial systems.
Possible options are:
— cabling and assembly of speakers and other peripherals.
In contract 72552, ICT cabling and ICT assembly, there is an option with regard to wiring and installation equipment for contract 72588. On the basis of these options, Award authority will consider where it is most appropriate to execute this work.
— Operation and maintenance agreement.
Contract 72588 is planned to be transferred to contract 72551, ICT Infrastructure.
The following preliminary schedule is set up for the contract:
— dispatch of tender documents 19.11.2012,
— deadline for submitting tenders 31.1.2013,
— contracting May 2013,
— design and production preparation, beginning of May 2013,
— start of construction in April 2014,
— completion early 2017.
