Installation of advanced measurement and control system (AMS)

The background for the procurement is that Lyse Elnett (Award authority) as the license holder is obliged to introduce Advanced metering and management system (AMS) in accordance with Regulation 11.3.1999 no. 301. Under this regulation the Award authority is obliged to introduce AMS for all their customers, currently totalling 140 000 meters.
This delivery includes the purchase of installation services for the dismantling of old electricity meters, installation and operation of new electricity meters with AMS functionality and communications equipment. The delivery also includes options to purchase installation services for infrastructure, other components and resource management for AMS deployment.
The Award authority will enter into an agreement with one or more providers who can take responsibility for installation and operation of the AMS in the Award authority's concession area.

Operating assignment: Perform operation and debugging tasks on meters and communications.
