Bygg og kontraktseksjonen (the Building and contract division) has the building owner and property developer function for Rogaland County and has the paramount responsibility for joint procurements.
The Division facilitates planning, engineering design and execution of new building and maintenance projects. Bygg og kontraktseksjonen administer buildings with a total area of approx. 400 000 m², mainly divided between 29 upper secondary schools.
The objective of the contract is to establish and implement a service and control scheme ensuring adequate protection against the legionnaires' disease for all upper secondary schools in the county. The scheme shall prevent growth of the legionnaires' disease and comply with the authorities' requirements regarding maintenance, inspection and control.
The tenderer must expect to conduct training and hold courses for the operating personnel in such a way that they are able to conduct regularly inspections and self inspection assignments in accordance with operating instruction drawn up by the tenderer. Presently Rogaland County has 29 upper secondary schools. See chapter 4 - Requirement specifications for further information.
